That morning there were no improvements and we agreed we would have Imogen christened and turn off the life support. We phoned our family members and waited for them to arrive. The snow decided to fall within the hour and happend to be the worst snow fall in a long time, it took around 6 hours for our family to get from one side of birmingham to the other. Me and stefan got to hold her for the first time that afternoon and it was the happiest moment of our lives, although we knew what was to come it was long awaited and we cherished it so much. when the family arrived around 5.30pm they each came in to say hello and goodbye, we had her christening which followed bright pink fireworks outside as the water was placed on her face. At 6.30pm she was taken off the life support and brought to me,stefan and all the family in another room. we were told she would pass within 5 minutes. By 10pm everyone had each had a hold twice and Imogen was very much breathing for herself. This was a very scary time for me and stefan as we were prepared to loose her straight away but now we were unsure of what was happening.
